Crystals have become a huge part of the energy healing journey. It helps in relaxing, calming, energising and also releasing stuck energy from the aura or energy field around the physical body and energy centres i.e. chakras.
What makes crystals so fascinating?
I see them as a gift from the earth, each having their own purpose and unique frequency. No one crystal is the same as the other, some will resonate with you and others will not. Follow your heart and intuition to pick the best crystal for you.
Here are four ways to use crystals
Start by holding the crystals for 5 minutes and then build it up to 10 and then to even 30 minutes. Just like any new practice, give it time to integrate and adjust with your energy, mind and body.
1. Hold the crystal in your receptive hand to absorb the energy from the crystal and allow it to influence, balance and harmonise your aura. Your receptive hand is the one you don’t often use nor write with. Preferably use crystals like rose quartz, amethyst, aquamarine, clear quartz, carnelian, aventurine.
2. Hold the crystal in your giving hand to release any stuck or unwanted energy from your body. The crystal will absorb it like a vacuum and thus you’ll feel lighter and more relaxed. Preferably use crystals like black tourmaline, selenite, smoky quartz, shungite, black obsidian.
3. Place the crystal on one or more energy centres, i.e. chakras to activate them. Choose the crystal colour based on the chakra colour. You can also use clear quartz on all for a full harmonising and neutralising affect.
4. Make water elixirs or room sprays, both require a crystal that can be put in water which is not soluble. The water elixir is to drink and room sprays are for cleansing the space. Choose the right bottle size for you and put in a tumble stone. You can charge it under the sun or the full moon to energise it.
